Korg is a Kronan warrior hailing from the planet Krona. These beings are characterized by their rocky, durable bodies. He first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1962 as an antagonist to Thor.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Korg is portrayed as a friendly and humorous character. He is introduced in Thor: Ragnarok as a fellow gladiator on Sakaar, where he befriends Thor and Valkyrie.
Korg is known for his laid-back demeanor and his tendency to offer somewhat naive and often comically misplaced commentary on the events unfolding around him. He assists Thor in escaping Sakaar and joining the fight against Hela.
